Today we’re going to look at the two things stopping 98% of people making money online.
The first is successfully picking a good niche - this is the key factor if you are to really succeed online. It is vital that the niche shows all the signs of being profitable. To do this it is necessary to do research and run some tests to validate your choices.
The second thing is getting an on line presence for that niche - now this isn’t the obstacle it used to be because of the rise of the blog. There are now plenty of free services available such as those run by Blogger and my own favorite Wordpress.
With niche research being so important this is really an area to develop and hone your skills as fast as possible and without doubt the best training I have found and review regularly is Profit Lance. I cannot over exaggerate how straightforward Mike at Profit Lance puts across his techniques. Even I could follow them and I’m pretty slow on the uptake sometimes.

Yesterday via a Google Alert I found a next generation niche store building application Datafeedr.
I was so impressed I took out a subscription on the spot and purchased some additional templates. This thing just blows me away, it’s like Build A Niche Store (BANS) only on speed. Basically Datafeedr takes RSS feeds from Commission Junction, Shareasale, Linkshare & Clickbank and enables you to build niche stores in a matter of minutes in any niche you desire. The front end is powered by WordPress and the Datafeedr guys have written some awesome widgets which you simply plug in. Check out the video on their site.
Is this the future of affiliate marketing? I think it might be and I’ve bet my money on it. You have to check it out for yourself - I think you’ll love it. It’s not the cheapest solution out there but it must have the must money making potential. Watch this space for more information.

Online Money Making Model 1 - Adwords
Adwords ads are the sponsored listings you see at the top of the page and to the right of the page when you do a Google Search. Effectively you generate your own ads and drive traffic to your own site, a landing page or a merchants site. Which of the three depends on what you are trying to achieve e.g. list building or product sales and how much control you want over the traffic.
To run effective and profitable adwords campaigns is not as easy as it once was and to avoid losing your shirt you need to get a proper education. You should be able to track down recommended guides via internet marketing forums which are a great source of information.
The basic premise behind an adwords campaign is that you put up ad and visitors click on the link and buy the product being recommened. You then get paid. Sounds simple but Adwords campaigns are not free and can be expensive if you don’t know how to set them up properly and test them properly.
In addition to the dominant Google Adwords you shouldn’t ignore Yahoo and Microsoft’s equivalent offerings.
In my opinion the best current guide to succeeding with Adwords is Beating Adwords closely followed by Google Cash.
